Bell's Mansion is less than 1 mile from Route 80. We are located on the corner of Route 183 South and Main Street in Stanhope. We have 2 entrances - one on Rt 183 South, and one on Main Street. Please note that Rt 183 turns into Rt 206 when driving north. When driving south, Rt 206 becomes Rt 183.
From Rt. 80 West or East:
Exit #25 – Stanhope / Newton
Follow signs to Rt. 183 South
Go right on to Rt. 183 South towards Stanhope & Netcong
Go 3 traffic lights (approx. 1 mile - 1st light Dell Rd, 3rd light Brooklyn Rd.)
Bell’s Mansion is just past the third traffic light on the right
From Rt 206 North & Flanders/Chester Area:
Follow Rt 206 North to the Netcong Circle (pass Ford dealership on right)
Follow signs for Rt 206 North and Rt 183 North, passing Motion Auto and going down a hill into Netcong
Go straight thru light (see Rosie's on your right at the light)
Pass Children's Theater and Lake Musconetcong on your right
Pass stone Methodist Church on left
Bell's Mansion is a very short distance up the hill on your left
Across the street from Hess gas station
***OR, follow Rt 206 North to Rt 80 West to exit 25. Continue with directions above from Rt 80. It is less confusing than negotiating the Netcong Circle.
From Rt 287 North & Florham Park/Morristown/Parsippany Area:
Rt 287 North to Route 80 West
Exit 25
Continue with directions from Rt 80 above
From Rt 206 South & Andover/Newton Area:
Follow Rt 206 South thru Andover and Byram
Get/stay in left lane at the light by CVS
Follow signs to Rt. 183 South, bearing left onto Rt. 183 South towards Stanhope & Netcong (Rt 206 turns into Rt 183 by Rt 80)
Go straight thru 3 traffic lights (approx. 1 mile - 1st light Dell Rd, 3rd light Brooklyn Rd)
Bell’s Mansion is just past the third traffic light on the right
From Rt 517 & Allamuchy/Tranquility Area:
Follow Rt 517 to the light at Rt 206
Make a right onto Rt 206 South
Continue with directions from Rt 206 South above
From Rt 10 West & Succasunna/Randolph/Denville Area:
Follow Rt 10 West to the end
Go left onto Rt 46 West (by Smiles gogo bar)
Follow directions below from Rt 46 West/Ledgewood Area
From Rt 46 West & Ledgewood/Mine Hill/Dover Area:
Get/stay in left lane as you pass Smiles gogo bar at the intersection of Rt 46 & Rt 10
Follow Rt 46 West bearing left at the split by Towne Toyota
Go to Netcong Circle
You will just skim the right side of the circle,following signs for Rt 206 North and Rt 183 North as you pass Motion Auto, and go down a hill into Netcong
Go straight thru one light (see Rosie's on your right at this light)
Pass Children's Theater and Lake Musconetcong (on your right)
Pass stone Methodist Church (on left)

Keep right when the road splits by Towne Toyota

Follow Rt 46 East past the ITC & ITC Crossings & past the entrance to Rt 80
Get/stay in right lane as you pass the ramp to Rt 80
Make a left onto Main Street, Netcong (see Ron's Landmark on your right)
Go over railroad tracks and continue thru town via Main Street, Netcong to stop sign (you will be facing Lake Musconetcong and Skylands Bank)
At stop make left onto Rt 183 North
Pass the lake (on right) and the stone Methodist Church (on left)
Bell’s Mansion is up the hill on the left
From Lake Mohawk Area (using Lenape Road):
At intersection of Lenape Rd and Rt 206 in Andover
Make a left at the light onto Rt 206 South
continue with directions above for Rt 206 South
From Sparta Area (using Stanhope Road):
Follow Stanhope Road past Lenape Valley High School to the end
Go right onto Brooklyn Road (there is a Lutheran Church at the intersection)
Follow Brooklyn Rd to the end
Go left at light onto Rt 183 South
Bell's Mansion will be on your right immediately after that light
From Howard Blvd/Landing Area:
Follow Howard Blvd to Lakeside Blvd
Pass Pathmark shopping center on your left
Turn left at the next light onto Brooklyn Road (Lake Hopatcong State Park on your right)
Follow Brooklyn Rd to the light at the end
Bear left onto Rt 183 South
Bell's Mansion is almost immediately on your right
