FOOD RUNNER JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus including catering menus  
• Assist all servers, bartenders and managers with carrying of plates and trays
• Communicate effectively and courteously with guests, and co-workers
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
• Perform calmly and effectively under stressful conditions
• Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers
• Maintain the cleanliness of the expo line, organization of order tickets, and communicate effectively

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Hospitality-focused
• Clean & neat appearance
• Exceptional work ethic & positive attitude
• Highly organized
• Ability to follow direction set forth by the management team
• Receptive to performance feedback

Physical Demands
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 6 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
